During our summer break our cousin Ane from Brazil stayed with us for a few weeks... She took Kyana out while I worked.

We have had a full summer of fun!! We hope your summer was just as fun!!....

Field Day!

Everyone that went to or child goes to Rock Canyon Elementary School knows that at the end of the year they have Field Day! This year at Field Day they didn't have most of the normal activities as they used to when I was a kid. In addition they only had 3 people go at a time so everyone got either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. They also didnt give out ribbons at the end of the day. They did of course the 50, 100 400, yard dash and 400 yard relay, also they did a few fun ones.. a soccer kick, football kick, wheelbarrow race, 3 legged race, softball throw.

In May Grandma and I went to Field Day held at Timpview on the football field. It was soooo fun!!! I remember when we were kids and doing Field Day.

The lady judging the softball through told us that Kyana threw it the farthest for the girls. She is amazing!

Here is Kyana starting the 400 yard race!!!

She got 1st Place and was soooo tired!

She got 2nd in the Wheelbarrow race!

and 1st in the soccer goal kick.. (grandpa would be proud)

She got 2nd in the 3 legged race.. the other girl was much shorter then here it was funny to watch them trying to run!!

This is the 100 yard dash she got 1st of course she is my child!



I had to put a picture of Gavin in here.. he got a new bike and loves to ride it in the park out back and on the sidewalk in the front. He has no idea how to stop so when he would go down our driveway he would just fall over on the grass to stop.. it was cute and scary!

March and April!

One cold day I found my kids sliding down the stairs on Kyana's mattress..

I was upset but they were having a great time!!

We had a good Easter the kids got some candy and fun outdoor toys!

Gavin also got Sponge Bob PJ's he LOVED them!

Kyana had to do a report on Summit County, and she got 50 points for driving there and gathering stuff like rocks and plants and taking pictures.. so on the way back we played at Deer Creek Island Resort and played by the water.. Kyana said it looked like the ocean but smaller!! lol

We also went to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon and took pictures by the Heber Creeper train!

We had a great time, I am glad she got points for doing something fun with her family!

January and February!

In January we had Kyana's "friend party" I took Kyana, Cousin Sasha, and friend Reana ice skating at the 7 Peeks Ice Arena. They had tons of fun!

Gavin went half way around the rink and decided he would rather watch!

On January 29th Gavin turned 3.. He is such a big boy!

He loved his cake and candles that he got to blow out!

For Gavin's party everyone came over and we painted wooden cars and airplanes!

It was tons of fun! Thank you for coming!

At some point in January or February Gavin fell down and hurt his lip.. and because he kept licking it and touching it I decided to put a band aid on it.. Gavin loved it!


Kyana loves playing dress up with her brother..

I am sure he will hate these pictures when he is older!

Kyana is getting so big and beautiful!



I bought a new car in January it is a 2003 Jetta!

I LOVE IT!!

December!

In December I went to Kyana's Christmas school program.. It was soooo cute!

We also celebrated Kyana's 10th Birthday!

We had cake and Ice cream!

Everyone came over and frosted cookies!

Thank you everyone for coming it was fun!

CHRISTMAS!

Santa Clause came and brought everyone presents!

Kyana loved all the art stuff she got!

Gavin loved the cars and other boy stuff he got!

We had a great Christmas it was tons of fun we spent the day enjoying each other making treats and playing with new toys!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the FANTASTIC gift you brought us!

I AM UPDATING THE LAST MONTHS!

After Halloween, we had to rake the back yard to get it ready for winter... We dont actually have a tree in our back yard but there is one in the park outside of our fense and we get all its leaves.

Gavin called it his "leaf house".

For Thanksgiving we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house of course.. we had a great dinner (thanks to grandma and all her hard work) and played Apples to Apples for a long time afterwords...

Grandpa (because he is awexome) made the little kids a box house, two boxes side by side he made a door on each end and in the middle so they could go all the way through and windows for them to look out of.. the kids LOVED it!!! We had a hard time keeping the older kids out of it!

We had a great time THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa for the great memories and all you hard work!!

Fall is here and so is the cold!

Amy was nice enough to let us come up to her house and go trick-or-treating!


While we were wating to go on the hunt for candy Kyana jumped on the trampoline dressed as a Spanish dancer ... to cute!


Gavin was driving Shaun's car dressed as a tiger!



Shaun was a RED Power Ranger! He said he did not need his mask cause he could just tell people what he was! lol


Gavin loved getting candy this year! However he did not want anybody to touch his bucket for fear they would take his candy!

Vaughn and Amy dressed up this year! I am sad I did not get a picture of Amy dressed as a Queen or Sasha dressed as a Cave Woman! They looked sooooo cute!


I was very happy that on Halloween it was not to cold for the kids to go trick-or-treating!

This weekend we had to rake the leaves that fell from the huge tree hanging over our back yard and after we got the big pile Gavin asked if he could go in the "leaf house" He calls everything a house ... store house, Erika's house (his daycare favorite teacher) the hospital is a BIG house! Its so cute to hear him tell me about all the different houses!


He had tons of fun! Kyana would not come out cause she said it was to cold and she was busy!



Hopefully I will be able to keep up on my blog more often!
